Electrician safety belt is safety appliance to prevent the electrician falling. In general, the material is chinlon and polypropylene fiber. 

3. Precautions

1.     In general, the lifetime of safety belt is 3~5 years and it should be abandoned in advance if any abnormality.

2.     Waistband, belt and rope of safety belt should own enough mechanical strength, material should be wear-resisting and snap ring (snap) should have safety device. If the use length of belt and rope exceeds3m, buffer should be added.

3.     Before use, check the appearance of safety belt:

(1)  Complete component, no shortage, no damage;

(2)  No brittle rupture, broken strand or knot with rope and webbing;

(3)  No crack, welding defect or serious corrosion with metal fittings;

(4)  Seaming of hook is flat without mismatch, safety device is complete and reliable;

(5)  No obvious deviation of rivet and flat in surface.

4.     Safety belt should be tied to firm object. Prohibit tying to mobile or loose objects or places with sharp corner angle. Safety belt should be hung highly or in parallel, prohibit hanging lowly for high use.

5.     When working on the tower, backup protection rope of safety belt should be tied to safe and firm component (hot-line work depends on specific task), and backup protection should be ensured.
