HNF 1.5 Monitoring Buoy

The HNF 1.5 is a meteorological /oceanographic Hydrologic Monitoring buoy.It is suitable for measuring ocean meteorological (metocean) parameters in Harbours,lakes and costal area where the water depth is within 50 m,with the d speed is 36m/s and max flow rate is 4knots.

The buoy is moulded from polyurethane elastomer with internal stainless steel skeleton enhanced and the body filled with closed-cell flexible foam,which provides the buoy with great lightness and excellent mooring capacity.The choice of materials ensures no risk of corroision as well as excellent resistance to impacts.

The solar panel and maintenance-free batteries are used to provide energy to Data acquisition units and wireless data transmission modules,which automatically transmit the data to the monitoring center through the GPRS or satellite.

HNF 1.5 buoy is equipped with 3 or 4 wells making the submerged sensors accessible without having to lift the buoy out of the water.This reduces the operation costs because work can be done without large boats and heavy lifting equipment.The wells can also be used for current sensors. In the wells the sensors are well protected during handling as well as theft and vandalism .
