Q: Why choosing Coriolis Mass Flow Meters but not the other flow meters?
A:
Coriolis mass flow meters has huge difference with the volumetric flow meters.
All the other flow meters except the Coriolis mass flow meters could be called as volumetric flow meters, including, turbine flow meters, thermal mass flow meters, vortex flow meters, electromagnetic flow meters, etc.
For the Coriolis Mass Flow meters:
- The measurement of the Coriolis Mass Flow meters will NOT be influenced by the factors of temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc. And the compensation calculation is NOT required.
- The accuracy of the Coriolis Mass Flow Meters is ±0.1%, ±0.2% . The accuracy will NOT be influenced by the factors mentioned above.
Compared to this,
For the Volumetric Flow Meters:
- The measurement of the volumetric flow meters WILL BE influenced by the factors of temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc. And the compensation calculation IS REQUIRED.
- The accuracy of the volumetric flow meters is said to be reached by ±0.5%. While, the actual accuracy is hard to reach this level of ±1%. The accuracy will be influenced by factors as mentioned above.
