Set contains large and small driver rods, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 17mm, 20mm, and 25mm collets.
Dependable split collet design allows user to drive the bearing out of the hub easily.
Instructions:
1. Remover any seals and clips.
2. Select proper sized collet.
3. Place the collet into the bearing, the slotted side facing down.
4. Put the hub on a smooth hard surface, the collet facing down.
5. Using a mallet to tap the rod into the slot on the collet to expand it until it is tight on
the inside of the bearing.
6. Strike the rod with the mallet to drive the bearing out of the hub.
Suggestion:
If the bearing is seized into the hub that heating the aluminum around the bearing
will make it easier to remove.
