Patterned conveyor belt is composed of belt carcass and pattern. The shape and high (depth) of pattern is subjected to the material it conveyor and the angle of the machine.

The chevron conveyor belt are used for carrying wet, loose sand and grain materials in bugs. The v-shape of the chevron cleats prevents the material from sliding back.
