Description of HPMC 

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether which made from natural polymer materials of cellulose, through a series of chemical processing.It has properties such as thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film forming, suspension, adsorption, gel, surface activity, keep moisture and protective colloid.

Application:

HPMC is widely used in building materials, coatings, synthetic resins, ceramics, medicine, food, textile, agriculture, cosmetics, tobacco and other industries.

The applications in building materials

1.plastering mortar

High water retention can make the cement hydration. Apparent increase in bond strength. At the same time, the tensile strength and shear strength can be improved at the same time

2.Waterproof putty

In the putty cellulose ether is water retention, adhesion and lubrication, to avoid excessive water loss lead to cracks or shedding phenomenon, while increasing the adhesion of putty, reduced in the construction of the sagging phenomenon, make the construction more smoothly, and the labor is saved.

3.Interface agent

Used as thickening agent, can improve the tensile strength and shear strength, improve the surface coating, and enhance the adhesion and adhesion strength

4.Exterior insulation mortar
