Overview
NetScreen-5400 is a comprehensive security system suited for large enterprise network backbones including departmental or campus segmentation, enterprise data centers, or other high-density server environments, as well as carrier-based managed services and core infrastructures.
Its four-slot chassis provides excellent flexibility and scalability while providing high levels of security that integrate firewall security, VPN security, traffic management functionality, denial of service (DoS), and distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection.
Built around Juniper’s third-generation security ASIC and distributed system architecture, NetScreen-5400 delivers up to 40 Gbps of firewall throughput in a modular design to provide the scale and flexibility needed in large enterprise and service provider networks.
