available in either 3 or 3.5mm thick pale 
Standard specification:

W - type palisade fence

available in either 2 or 2.5mm thick pale 

The 2.5mm general purpose and the 3.0mm security "W" section pales are generally fixed to the rails with 8mm

anti vandal rivets and collars (requiring specialist tools to set) or 8mm Tee head bolts with permacone (shear) nuts.

The shape of the "W" section

profile offers increased protection to the head of the fixing as the head is recessed  into the profile, also the "W" profile gives a positive contact between the pale and the rail at the fixing point making  removal of the fixings more difficult.
