How to use your sterilizing cup?

Place your menstrual into the disinfection cup and fill it up with water. Set your microwave to medium power level / wattage (please refer to your microwave manual for power level/wattage) for 3 - 5 minutes. The water must be boiling for the disinfection to be effective. The cup's lid should not be completely sealed when microwaving otherwise the steam produced by the boiling water can't escape.

Please be very careful when removing the cup from the microwave. The sterilizing cup is very hot after the heating process. Either use a piece of cloth or oven mittens to remove the sterilizing cup from the microwave or allow the cup and menstrual cup to cool down inside the microwave before removing.
