Expert Opinion:

Tempered glass is not necessarily more resistant to mechanical breakage after scratched, but it should be scratched everyday in a kitchen.

The tempered dishes may not be evenly tempered at all. There's quite a bit of inconsistency within the pieces.

If a tempered glass will be heated too high in temperature, it can lose its temper,that will make it unexpectedly shattering
