Multi protection deciding conditions will be taken into account in the controller, which will leave the wind turbine being operated normally when voltage, wind speed, current, temperature and RMP are all under normal state,. Supposed that some parameter is not under normal state, the controller will take the concrete and targeted measure to achieve the protections.
- Adoption of Mitsubishi as the main controlling unit and choice of electric units from worldwide known supplier will greatly enhance the steadiness and reliablity of the controller.
- The employment of highly sensitive and highly reliable sensors will effectivelly wind speed, wind direction, RPM, voltage, current and will react and determine accordingly.
- RPM checking and control will prevent the generator from being spinning too fast to damage the blades.
- Check and control of temperature and current can activate yaw protection when the generator temperature goes high so as to reduce power output until to gradually stop output to protect the generator.
- Triple protections, namely yawing, brake and dowploading, have been employed in order to gurantee the turbine under normal operation. Integration factive and passive protection willl enable the system to performance even more reliably.
- Dumpload protection can be not only controlled by software, but also be controlled by hardware switch under emergency.
- Self-developed yawing system gurantee the safe and steady performance of yawing system.
Meanwhile, it also solves the problem of twisting cables. The cables will not be twisted when the controlling system under normal operation.
