Chili, for ages, has brought a zing of spices to cuisines and been widely used in daily meals. Besides, chili has amazingly high levels of vitamins and minerals, especially a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin A and flavonoids like beta-carotene, folic acid and potassium…which are the antioxidant substances helping protect the body from effects of free radicals generated during stress, diseases conditions.

Specifications of chili: We sell three kinds of chili and chili powder

Here is our process:

Chilies are grown in full sun of the tropics.

Red chili (13-15cm, 17cm with stem)

Chili Padi (shorter, of 4-7cm (without stem), 7-9cm (with stem), spicy hot.

Chili capsicum: Since the tiny chilies, fruits have been carefully taken care so that the fruits will be of the best quality and flavor.

When chilies grow to the required size, they will be harvested.

Chilies are cleaned and washed to remove rots, the impurities, microorganisms on the surface.

After being cleaned and let water off, the chilies will be preserved in cool place.

For export, chilies are packed in the carton boxes, plastic crates or packed as customer’s request and then loaded in cool container.

Chili Padi’s packing

-    Carton box (PE inside - optional) 4kg; 6kg; 8kg/box.

-    Plastic crate: 7kg; 14kg/crat.

-    Customer’s request.

-      Plastic crate: 8kg/each.

In addition to the fresh chili, our product list also includes dried chili which is put through the following production process: harvesting fresh chili, cleaning and washing and air drying.

We also use the hot air dryer to dry chilies. After that, the temperature is adequately controlled to avoid negative changes. The drying regime is monitored as follow: the chilies will be dried at 75-78⁰C within 1 hour and the temperature will be lowered to 65⁰C then remained at 62-65⁰C until the chilies are completely dried. When the moisture is 16%, the drying process ends.

 After the dried chilies get cool, they will be contained in the PP bags or carton boxes with a PE layer inside.

High quality dried chili is milled by machine to have chili powder. Our chili powder is spicy hot with the moisture standard of no more than 9%, no impurity, no fungus.
