The spray gun has many functions, it has an integrated pressure switch which shuts off the pump when the trigger is released. The pressure switch works best if you allow it to rest at least ten seconds between each pull or release of the trigger.

Pull the trigger to start the pump and release it once you have finished washing or when change hands

Continuous use

Flip the trigger forward towards the nozzle for a continuous spray. Flip the trigger back to stop the stream
