1.Theory :

 Snake doesn't have any ear hole and auditory system, it creeps and senses the ambient temperature through skin's stretching and shrinking, so the skin is the most sensitive organ of snake. When earthquake is coming, the snake can sense it and escape away quickly.Such repeller  emits a pulsing vibration by the motor, snakes think earthquake and danger is coming then escape away immediately.
