Cisco 1841 Rack Mount Kit (Second Generation), ACS-1841-RM-19

We work to make your network better, one rack mount kit at a time. After several thousand Cisco 1841 routers were manufactured, Cisco added mounting holes to new productions as well as created a rack mount kit. If your 1841 does NOT have holes on the sides near the rear of the unit (where mounting brackets would attach) then your unit is what we refer to as a "First Generation" unit and you need our custom rack mounting solution. If your 1841 DOES have holes in the rear of the unit you have what we refer to as the "Second Generation" unit and can use the "L Bracket" type kit designed by Cisco. (ACS-1841-RM-19)

Since the mounting holes on the 1841 are in the rear of the unit the rear will face forward in your rack when mounted. If you prefer a "Forward Mount" solution we have a kit available that allows you to mount the unit in either direction.
