Overview: float valve features its bore and rapid switching. It can be shut off in an emergent manner when the circulation is stopped. It is generally installed at the near end of the bit and connected with the drilling stem by the valve body. During its connection, the end drilling into the valve body (i.e., the end with three notches) should be upward. During normal drilling operation, the mud will thrust aside the valve cap (ordinary cap or with a nozzle) to complete the circulation. In event of any well kick or blowout, the valve cap shall be switched off for the prevention of blowout. The float valve is generally assembled with ordinary valve cap, but the cap with a nozzle is used for special operation. This product is designed and manufactured in accordance with the petroleum and natural gas industry standard of People’s Republic of China Drilling Tool Check Valve (SY/T 5215-2005) and API7-1 standard.
