Specifications :

FeCrAl wire is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) with exceptional form stability and service life in elements with large coil to wire diameter ratio. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1350ºC (2462ºF).

FeCrAl wire series has been developed for conditions of extreme surface loads in fine wire dimensions. It contains trace elements which provides for an extremely well adhering oxide with good emissivity properties.

Typical applications for FeCrAl AE are in fast-response elements for ceramic glass top hobs and quartz tube heaters. Due to the dense and well adhering oxide, the alloy is also suitable for applications using close wound coils.
