This product is excellent - makes a perfect sphere with no water seepage. Depending on water used, it can be crystal clear. Required a spoon to pull sphere from mold; and in the event you have a large party, you would have to create each ice-sphere separately. (I don't have the patience.) It's a nice treat.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Separate the molds into two pieces, place mold pieces flat on the upper rack of the dishwasher and wash in regular cycle. Hand wash with mild soap or detergent if desired.

Step 2: Replace the top mold section “holes facing up” down into the inside of the lower mold section. Press slightly around each mold ball to ensure the mold seals together prior to filling.

Step 3: Use tap, filtered or distilled water to fill molds. Filtered water may reduce any ice after taste, while distilled water will produce crystal clear ice balls that look great for party presentations such as cocktail ice or large drink pictures.

Step 4: Place tray level in freezer for 3 to 4 hours. Remove frozen tray and let stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before separating molds or run cool tap water over top and bottom of tray, then separate.
