2.STRUCTURE

The furnace support structure, casing and framework, are manufactured throughout in mild steel. The furnace casing is fabricated from mild steel plate, reinforced where necessary with rolled steel sections.

3.INSULATION

Roof, hearth and sidewalls are insulated with mineral wool boards and ceramic fiber material. Insulation is fixed to sidewalls and roof by stud welded pins. Insulation is asbestos free. 

4. RECRCULATION FANS

Each zone of the Drying furnace is equipped in one Recirculation Fan. Fan is air cooled and driven by 4,0kW motor with frequency inverter.Fan wheel and housing will be of stainless steel construction and all external fan components will be of mild steel construction. Easy access for lubrication points will be ensured.

 5. CONVEYOR

The conveyor belt will consist of a balanced weave 304 alloy belt, 1000mm overall width. The belt will be driven by variable speed motor and gear box through a dedicated frequency inverter. There will be provision for running this belt in opposite way (for maintenance purposes only, for short length). The belt return drum and the open (no thermal insulation) belt return tray will be fabricated from carbon steel.The drive of the belt will be from the discharge end of the Airblast Cooler and will have a suitable gravity type tensioning device installed below the outlet tunnel.
