Hydrocyclone is a kind of equipment for classifying the ore pulp by use of centrifugal force. It has no

motion and dynamic parts, but it requires matching with corresponding slurry pump. It is mainly used in

ore dressing industry for classifying, sorting, thickening and desliming.

It is widely used as the grading equipment for the second stage grinding or coarse ore grinding again,to 

replace the mechanical classifier,or used with the classifier(at this time,hydrocyclone used as preliminary 

classification or control classification),sometimes it’s also used in the first grinding operation.
