Jaw crusher introduction:

Jaw Crusher is one of the main types of primary crushers in a mine or ore processing plant. Jaw Crusher is a kind of stone crusher, and it is also called rock crusher, jaw breaker, stone jaw crusher, single toggle jaw crusher and aggregate jaw crusher. This series of stone crusher plant can reach the crushing ratio of 4-6 and the shape of final product is even. The rock crushers are widely used in mining, building materials, chemical industry, and metallurgy and so on. It is suitable for primary and secondary crushing for all and rocks with compressive strength less than 320 MPa. Working principle:

Jaw crusher’s working type is of moving and squeezing. The working principle is as follows: jaw crusher uses motor as its power. Through the motor’s wheels, the eccentric shaft is driven by the triangle belt and slot wheel to make the movable jaw plate move by a regulated track. Therefore, the material in the crushing cavity composed of fixed jaw plate, movable jaw plate and side-lee board can be discharged through the discharging opening.

Jaw crusher mainly consists of frame, eccentric shaft, jaw plate, connecting bar, adjustment part and spring. The movable jaw goes upward and downward through eccentric shaft when belt and belt wheel are driven by the motor. The angle between movable jaw and bracket turns big when the movable jaw goes upward, which pushes the movable jaw plate to come close to fixed jaw plate. At the same time, materials are crushed with the movement of the movable jaw.

When the movable jaw goes downward, the angle between movable jaw and bracket turns small. Under the force of spring and connecting bars, the movable jaw plate leaves fixed jaw plate, and the crushed materials with qualified size are discharged from the crushing cavity. With the continuous rotation of the motor, the movable jaw crushers and discharges materials, in turn, realizes the goal of mass production.

Operation of Jaw Crusher:

(1) Start feeding after checking that the machine works well.

(2) Evenly put the material into the machine, and avoid putting material from the side or feeding too much to avoid over feeding, sudden load change or being blocked.

(3) Stop feeding before stopping machine. Stop motor after all materials discharged.

(4) Stop the motor if there is any stagnancy due to the blocking up of material inside the machine.

(5) The other side can be used if one side of fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate are worn.

(6) Check all fixed parts before starting to use and tighten the part if it is loosening.
