1. Single Cylinder Filter Element Cartridge Description

Simplex filters are the basic model of filter technology. They perform filtration tasks just as reliably as duplex filters or automatic filters. All filter elements with different filter materials can be installed. Sinft Simplex are used every-where where process can be stopped at no great inconvenience or cost in order to clean or replace the filter elements.

Operation of Single Cylinder Filter Element

The filter is completely maintenancefree except for checking of the seals and cleaning of filter elements. The 
pressure drop indicates the contamination degree of the filter. To clean the filter element, the installation must be shut-down or the filter isolated.

Cleaning of Single Cylinder Filter Element 
Depressurize the filter chamber by means of the venting screw. Lift the housing cover, remove the filter element, rinse it with the cleaning fluid, e.g. Sinft-CLEAN 2000, and clean it by compressed air.
