Battery charging

When camera in low power, you can charge camera via USB cable from PC or charge via AC charger equipped. Plug in AC charger, camera will vibrate once and auto power on, the three blue battery indicators lights up orderly and circularly. If there is no operation within 3 minutes camera will auto off , meanwhile you can see the indicator on AC charger in red color it means camera still under charging. When full charged, the indicator on AC charger turn green and stay on.

Low power warning: When camera in low power, its motor will vibrate for 3 seconds, and the bottom battery indicator will also flick at a frequency of 1 second per time, after about 5 minutes if no charging operation, camera will vibrate again for another 3 seconds, stop recording and save file automatically, and then turn off.

Notice:

a) In order to improve the charging efficiency, please charge the camera under the shutdown status.

b) Please make sure the AC power is turned on when the charger is plugged.

c) Battery full charging time is about 2 hours.

Insert and take out storage card

1. Insert the Card

Before power on camera, Insert the card according to the right direction

2, Take out the storage card

1) Turn off the camera power

2) Press the end of the storage card slightly, card will eject automatically.

Notice:

a) It is recommended to format Micro-SD card on camera before recording.

b) Please mind the inserting direction of the SD card because reversed inserting may cause damage to the camera and the SD card;

c) Card error or no card trip: After power on camera, press the function key, if system detects no card or there is card error, camera will vibrate for 5 times continuously.

Time setting

Connect camera to PC (with Micro SD inserted), open the mass removable disk,and create a .txt file named"time.txt”, open the txt file and write down the current time in 14 digits format of"YYYYMMDDMMSS”, for example, Current time: Year 2014, 1^st Jan, 09Hour:30Minutes:0 seconds, write down"20140101093000”and save the txt file. Power on the camera, the camera will run the time accordingly to the txt file you set.

Recording operation

1) Button control: After power on, camera enter standby video mode (default mode), press once the function key, camera vibrates twice and starts recording, the Red working indicator flicks 1 second per time during recording. Press once again the function key, camera vibrates twice again and camera stops recording, the Red working indicator stops flicking also.

2) App control: When camera successfully connected to smart phone via WIFI, open the App and press the the shutter key on the app interface you record what you see. Press again the shutter on app to stop.

3) Remote control: Under the remote control mode, long press the Shutter key for 3 seconds camera start recording, long press the shutter key again for 3 second to stop recording.

Notice: 1. When camera Wifi connected mobile wlan, the function key cann`t record.

2. When remote control is pairing, the function key cann`t record.

3. When wifi is starting up, the function key cann`t record until WIFI Red indicator keep lighting on.

3. When using camera Wifi function, in order to stabilize the performance of camera please wait 2-3 second after each operation then start the next operation.

Photo operation

1. Remote control: Under the remote control mode, press once the shutter key on controller to take a photo, camera will save the file automatically.

2. App control: switch video mode to Photo mode on your Wifi App, then press once the shutter key on the app interface to take a photo, camera will save the file automatically.

Format Operation

Under power on status, long press the function key, the Green working indicator turn off firstly, keep holding press function key, wait till Green working indicator lights up again, then release the function key, the green indicator off , the Red working indicator flickers in quick frequency 3 times per second, it alerts that user can take below two options to confirm or cancel formating operation.

a) To confirm formatting: Long press again the function key till the Green indicator lights up again, and release the pressing, camera will proceed the formating, during formating Red working indicator flicks 1 second per time till formating finish, Red working indicator is off, and Green working indicator stay on, camera enter standby mode.

b) To cancel formatting: Short press the function key once will cancel the formatting operation, the Red working indicator is off, and Green working indicator stay on, camera enter standby mode.

Notice: Be noted to carry out the format operation will delete all the data in storage card !

RF remote control

Remote controller pairing:

In camera off status, switch camera to remote control function on. Long press function key and keep holding, Green working indicator lights up and stay on about 10 seconds, then quick flickers at a frequence of 3 times per second, it means camera enter pairing status already, you can release the function key now, this pairing status will maintain till pairing success or failure.

At this time, press both buttons on remote controller to start pairing,

a) Pairing success: camera will auto turn off and all the indicators off. Power on camera again, remote control function is valid.

b) Pairing failure: Green working indicator keep flicking on about 30 seconds, if continue pairing not succeeded or without any pairing operation within this 30 seconds, camera will return to standby status, Green indicator stop flicking but keeps on.

Notice: 1. When remote control is pairing, the function key and Slide switch key cann`t use, until pairing successed.

2. When Slide switch key to the Switch 4(WIFI and Remote mode), the remote control can control 3M.

WIFI function

Power on camera, switch camera to WIFI mode. The WIFI Red indicator start flickering at frequence 2 time/sec then change to keep lighting on (it meas the WIFI function is ready) , Search the Wlan using your mobile, find network name of"Camshot”, connect and enter password :1234567890 and confirm. (If need to change the Wifi default password, pls check below chapter: Browse files connecting to PC)

Open APP (pls download APP and install to your smart phone accordingly) to preview the camera's imaging, take video, take photo and also make menu setting directly from mobile to your camera (such as video resolution , photo size etc)

Note: When low power only one grid of battery indicator lights, wifi function not able to start.

Only with storage card inserted in camera WIFI function is valid.

Connecting camera to PC, WIFI function is not valid.

When smart phone connected to camera Wlan successfully, the function key on camera and shutter key on remote controller function will have no function.

5When wifi is starting up, the function key and Slide switch key cann`t use until WIFI Red indicator keep lighting on.
