Tips for installation
At the height of 1.8-2.0m
Since the detector responds the temperature change, please avoid the following
conditions:
> Avoid pointing the detector toward the objects whose surfaces are highly reflective, such as mirror, etc.
> Avoid mounting the detector near heat sources, such as heating vents, air conditioners, lights, etc.
> Avoid aiming the detector toward the objects which may be swayed in the wind, such as curtain, tall plants, etc.
> Pay attention to the walking direction in the test proceeding.
> Screw the terminal and make sure the wires are securely fixed.
> Put the wired power box into the European junction box,
> Put together the head of the motion detector with the cover and power unit and insert in the standard flush-mounted socket, then affix the terminal screws.
> Supply power and carry out function test to check if SK903A works normally.
NOTE: Use 3 x 12 mm self-tapping screw to fix LUXA 103-200 with surface-mounted frame.
NOTE: Allow approximately thirty (30) seconds after power is supplied for warm-up. After this, the device will turn the lights ON and the LED will blink.
Dismantie the plastic frame
> To dismantle a fixed 903A, please put the head of screwdriver at the nick of frame, then prize up the frame.
> To remove a flush mounted or surface mounted on junction box of 903, please refer to fig. above.

The desired duration of illumination of the connected light can be continuously adjusted from approx.
10 sec. to max. 30 min. Adjusting screw left stop position means: shortest time approx. 10 sec. (factory setting)
Adjusting screw right stop position means: longest time approx. 30 min.
The timer is restarted by any motion detected before this time elapses.
(1) 10 second fixed time-out used for performing a walk-test.
(2) 2 minute time-out
(3) 15 minute time-out
(4) 30 minute time-out
The “time-out” is factory preset to two (2) minutes.
The Sensor Switch basically operates in sensor mode. The light is switched ON To the preset time in response to movement within the detection zone
NOTE: The Motion Indicator LED will blink every 2 seconds while motion is detected.
If the lights are OFF, the lights will turn ON when the button is pressed, and remain ON in the presence of occupation. In the absence of motion/sound, the Sensor Unit will time-out and turn the lights OFF. If the lights are ON, the lights will turn OFF when the button is pressed. The lights will stay OFF regardless of motion detected, until the time-out expires. After the time-out expires, the lights will turn ON with the next detected motion. This is useful for slide or film presentations.
Manual on/auto off mode
In this mode the lights need to be manually turned ON by the push-button, and will turn OFF with the absence of occupation. If Manual-On mode is desired, keep the Light knob in the fully counter-clockwise (CCW) position. In this mode, the unit will not turn lights ON automatically when motion is detected. Lights can only be turned ON by manually pressing the push-button. The lights will remain ON as long as the unit detects occupancy in the sensor zone. The SK903A will shut lights OFF automatically after the space becomes unoccupied and the OFF delay time has expired. Lights can also be turned OFF manually at any time by pressing the push-button. This mode is ideal for areas where manual ON switching is required but automatic OFF switching is desired for energy savings.
Press and hold button 3 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly, Release button. The Sound sensor is inhibited from working but the PIR sensor continues to operate. This mode is ideal for areas where there are high ambient sound levels, such as outside near busy roads and busy shopping centres. To re-engage the microphonics system: Press and hold the button until the led flashes, sound detection is again in operation.
NOTE: Sensor must detect motion using Passive Infrared (PIR) FIRSTLY and then microphonics( sound sensor) will engage to hear sounds that indicate continued occupancy. If PIR does not sense, sound alone will not operate the switch.
