The film we produced is named as TPU. TPU (Thermoplastic Poly Urethane) film is the same as EVA and PVB film which is used in producing laminated galss. All of them has the feature that when heat them, they will melt and adhere. But the TPU film is the best interlayer film for laminated glass because of the high tensile stength, excellent weatherability, high transmittance and long useful life.
1. High tensile strength and impact resistence.
2. High transmittance. The transmittance rate can reach 95%. No haze appears on the TPU laminated glass.
3. High weatherability. It can stand extremly low temperature to -50 °C
4. Excellent UV-Blocking performance. It can block harmful ultraviolet more than 99%.
5. Strong adhesion to glass and PC panel, which is very suitable for bullet-proof laminated glass.
6. Easier and longer for storage.. It can be stored for a long time in the normal weather. No cold closet with temperature and hummidity controlled is needed.
Applications of TPU film
1. Bullet-proof glass: TPU film is strongly adhesive to PC panel and its transmittance rate can reach 85-95%. Compared to PVB and EVA film, it is much higher in tensile strength, better in aging resistance and long in useful life.
2. Laminated glass for architecture and curtain wall: the UV-block rate of TPU film is more than 99%.
3. Windshield for cars, trains, military vehicles and ships.
4. Colorful laminated glass.
5. Swichable glass and LED laminated glass.
6. Solar PV panel laminated lass.
