Description:

 1.The chemical formula of quartz is SiO2.It was composed by silicon dioxide.

2. It is either translucent or opaque, milk white and hard crystalloid. Natural 

quartz always contains a spot of impurity, such as Al2O3,CaO,MgO etc. 

Quartz has many species.

3.Its density is 2.65-2.66g/cm3, Moh’s hardness is 7, refraction is 1.533-1.541.The pure quartz is clear, trigonal or hexagonal.

4. The anisotropy upon chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties is 

obvious.Quartz sand is made from high purity and high whiteness natural 

quartz ore, and specially processed by unique technique.

Application:

Microsilica in refractory:

1.Microsilica Enhancing the fluid of pouring refractory, reducing the volume of

 used water, be easy to shape, and raising the production efficiency.

2.Because of its untramicrostructure for gap filling, the compact and intensity 

of refractory gain rising by a wade margin.

3. Microsilica is a highly effective pozzolanic material, so it's easy to come into

 being Mullite Phase, under the premise that Al2O3 exists, enhance elevated 

temperature strength and thermal shock of refractory.

Microsilica in Concrete:

1.Microsilica Makes high-grade concrete effectively enhances the strength and 

pumpability of strong concrete.
