Q-Switch Nd yag Laser tattoo&hair removal Machine works by using different wavelengths of light which react with the ink in the skin and fractures it into tiny pieces which is them removed from the skin by the inmune system. On average professional tattoos require 5-6 treatments amateur tattoos may require only 3-4 sessions.The number of treatments depends on the size of the tattoo and treatments can be required upto 20 times.

 

 

Laser tattoo removal

Nd:YAG is the most frequently used laser for tattoo removal. Tattoo ink and natural pigmentation like melanin absorb short pulse duration/high peak energy

Q-switched pulses so quickly that they create a photo-acoustic effect within the pigment clusters. This effect breaks down the ink into much smaller 

particles that can be more easily removed by the body's natural filtering system. During treatment, pulses of light from the laser are directed onto the tattoo, 

breaking up the tattoo pigment. Over the next several weeks the body's macrophages remove the treated pigmented areas.

 

 

Laser hair removal

 

Lasers and light sources use the principle of selective photothermolysis to eliminate hair and its potential regrowth without damaging the surrounding skin.

The energy travels harmlessly through the epidermis and dermis until it strikes the hair follicle, which contains a dense, melanin-rich hair shaft and bulb.

 

 

 

During a laser treatment

 

light passes through the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. This absorption raises the temperature of the hair follicle and 

thermally destroys the cells responsible for regrowth. The attributes of the light (wavelength, pulse duration and power) are chosen to ensure 

damage to these cells and not to the rest of the skin.

 

 

The side effects after treatment

 

The main side effects are mild, temporary swelling, redness, an accentuation of the spots, crusting, and an occasional bruise or small superficial blister 

(like a sunburn blister).
