Cavitation Air Flotation is an advanced wastewater treatment equipment, mainly used to remove suspended solid, colloid and grease to achieve solid-liquid separation and liquid-liquid separation for industrial wastewater and municipal sewage.
By mixing suitable flocculants and coagulants into wastewater, removal rate of grease can be more than 95%, removal rate of suspended solid can be more than 90%, and at the same time can remove around 60% COD and BOD in pretreatment process.
Working principle of cavitation air flotation:
Wastewater firstly enter into the aeration section, then a vacuum zone is formed there because of high speed rotating of impeller. Air above liquid level is absorbed into water and generate micro-bubbles.
These bubbles attach to, and form within, the solids or chemical flocculants entering the vessel, causing them to float to the surface where they are retained and subsequently removed by a mechanical skimmer.
