Porcelain electrical insulator

 

A porcelain station post insulator consists of one or more ceramic or glass parts permanently secured in a metal base and intended to be mounted rigidly on a supporting structure by means of a stud or bolts attached to the base. Unless otherwise stated,this term includes the stud or bolts.In operation,it is generally mounted vertically and horizontally.
