rubber auxiliary and PVC stabilizer Zinc stearate /CAS 557-05-1 

Property: It is white flammable nontoxic powder with good smell and with specific gravity 1.095. 

It can dissolve in hot common solvent and acid, but not in water, ethanol or aether. 

It will become to glue when cooled after being heated in the organic solvent and be decomposed to stearate 

or salt when meet strong acid and can absord moisture in air.

 

Application: If Zinc stearate is too much, it will decompose PVC or show some black points. 

It will become to white zinc sulphide after absorbing sulfide in air to be poor at primary stainablity. 

It is not used independently for PVC products, but with any others.

 

Package: Weaved bag lined with PE bag and 20kgs weight.
