Operating principle
FDF-B,FDF-Z series solenoid valves are the direct-acting type valves. The pull of the solenoid coil opens the valve port directly by lifting the seat disc off the valve seat .While de-energized in the coil , plug stem will drop and close the valve port because of spring force and its weight.
FDF-M series solenoid valves are pilot type valves. While energized in coil ,the coil emerges magnetic field and picks up plug stem to open the small orifice .With the pressure in the upside of valve reduced, the pressure difference between both side of diaphragm makes the diaphragm lift to open the main orifice. While de-energized in the coil ,plug stem will drop and close the small orifice because of spring force and its weight .The flow medium enters into upside of diaphragm through throttle hole ,then pressure in both side of diaphragm ,balances ,then the diaphragm drops and closes the main orifice.

Installation
l The valve should be installed in horizontal pipe line under vertical position. The flow direction must be in the arrow direction.
l The supply voltage must meet the rated input voltage shown on the label of the coil. Coil taking away from valve when energized in coil is forbidden.
l When brazing the valve with connect tube in system ,follow points are very important.
l Before brazing, coil must be taken away and with wet rags covering the valve body to avoid damage.
l The brazing flame must be avoided facing the valve body.
l It is better to use low temperature type silver to braze.
l For the valve with hand lever ,you must turn the lever firstly ,then make leakage test to protect diaphragm.
