This needle roller and cage assembly is one of the basic components for the needle roller bearing of a construction wherein the needle rollers are fitted with a cage so as not to separate from each other. The use of this roller and cage assembly enables to design a compact and lightweight construction by utilizing a shaft or a housing as the direct raceway surface, without using inner ring and outer ring.
