3~19mm Clear &Tinted and Bent Toughened Glass

Bent Toughened glass is produced by heating to a softening point in a specific mold and equipment. The glass is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air, including compressive stress to the surface while the center remains tensile.

 Features

         1. Safety: if breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragements, which are not threatening to human.

         2. Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass  

         3.4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness. 

         4. It withstands abrupt temperature change of 220°C. 

         5. Sizes are produced per customer request, once tempered, cannot  be cut down

Application

  It is ideal for areas with high wind loads and areas where human contacts are an important consideration. Such as glass door curtain wall of building, indoor partition, showcase, household appliance,  frontal windows of building, etc.
