AW-AFP2189 fire alarm control panel (hereinafter referred to fire control unit) is a new generation of fire alarm control panel launched. In order to meet the engineering design demand, the control unit is provided with both linkage and control functions. It can support uses of other related products of the Company to form an integrated alarm and linkage control system, which is perfectly suitable for the application of small and medium-sized fire alarm and firefighting and linkage integrated control system.
The fire alarm linkage control system is widely used in small and medium-sized firefighting engineering, such as high-grade office building, residential community, department store, gymnasium, exhibition room, library, workshop, supermarket and hotels.
In order to familiarize you with this system, the components are introduced briefly in the following sections. The fire alarm control system is composed of the following main parts:
1. Main control part
The main control part is responsible for processing and analyzing the data transmitted from other parts, and activating other parts of the system based on the result of data analysis, for example, sounding the buzzer of the panel when a fire is detected.
2. Display element
The display element provides main output interface for alarm signal and interface for routine maintenance and query.
3. Input device
The system transplants the computer standard peripheral interface, panel buttons or USB-interfaced keyboard / button as its input devices, which brings much convenience for the user to set up and maintain the system.
4. Power supply
The power supply is designed to supply power to all devices in the system. The system adopts the special firefighting equipment power with DC 24V output, which can provide alarm or feedback signals, such as main power fault, battery fault, battery under-voltage and battery charging, and have a good capacity for interference.
5.Loop board
The loop board is used as the driver of detector/module bus, which may drive 324 intelligent detectors or intelligent modules and can be equipped with bus type fire indicating panel.
6. Fire detector
The system can get access to various intelligent smoke, heat or combination detectors produced by the manufacturer, and the main types include AW-ASD2188, AW-ATD2188 and so on.
7. I/O module, sounder visual indicator, manual call point and fire hydrant button
The system can get access to multiple intelligent modules produced by the manufacturer, with the main types as Input module AW-AIO2188-IN, output module AW-AIO2188-OUT and short circuit isolator AW-ISO2188. Meanwhile, it can also get access to intelligent sounder visual indicator AW-ASS2188, and intelligent manual call point AW-AMC2188.
8.Printer (optional)
The system is equipped with a special mini-printer (hereinafter referred to as printer) as standard, which can print alarm, feedback and fault messages for future reference.
9. Fire indicating panel
The fire indicating panel is called floor-indicating panel and its application is expanded in the system, which can be used as both "building indicating panel" and "floor indicating panel". The model of the fire indicating panel that can be connected to the system is AW-RP2188.
