1. Introduction:
Hongyuan Waterproof has newly developed RAM-CL, a self-adhesive waterproof membrane made from cross laminated HDPE film, asphalt and high polymer adhesive. This product is featured by high property performance, cold application, excellent size stability, anti-UV and good tear resistance.
HDPE film used in this product is manufactured through cross-lamination processing, which enables the film elongation stable both in MD and TD, while no deformation is caused, black color more beautiful and with a better waterproofing effect.
Its polymer and cement-hydrate (silicate grid) form a cross interface structure, permanently sealed to cement base.
2. Cross Laminated HDPE Film
An ordinary film is single directional stretching film. Adhesive membrane with this film is easily wrinkled when temperature changes, even broken if heavy deformation.
The upper surface— black cross laminating HDPE film— is imported from Valéron Company in USA, the same supplier as the Grace. This film have a better tensile strength, tearing strength, anti-UV, and better waterproofing effect.
3. Advantages:
1) Cross laminated Valéron HDPE film, high tenacity, much better than ordinary PE film and PET membrane, perfectly combined with self-adhesive membrane to improve the waterproofing effect.
2) Excellent bonding force. Its polymer and cement-hydrate (silicate grid) form a cross interface structure, permanently sealed to cement base.
3) Anti-UV. Can be exposed to the sunshine around 3-6months, no deformation, ensure construction going on smoothly.
4) Good dimension stability. It will not shrivel due to great temperature variation when construction.
5) High impact resistance and puncture resistance.
6) Excellent anti-aging, weather resistance, resistant salt, acid and alkali.
7) Good adaptation to the climate.
4. Applicable Scope
1). applied in non-exposed roofs, underground waterproof projects, subways, tunnels and water channels. It is specially used in such constructions that no open fire is allowed to used.
2). Cement mortar is used to install RAM-CL onto base, while self-adhesive is recommended to use between membrane sheets.

While the longitudinal and transverse value of Hongyuan RAM-CL is equal, which enables the sheet has stronger adhesion on fasteners than ordinary membrane.
