The functional designed mini-Ligno case is made of high impact resistant plastic. The disinctive green cap serves as cover over the pins during transportation. The cap is also used as a handle for easy probe insertion. This unique design allows pushiing behind the entire meter to insert the tapered pins easily. A set of longer pins is stored inside the meter for measuring thicker material. The short pins are ideal for surface or end cut readings and for veneer. For ease-of-operation the switch between the pins automatically turns the meter on and off, coserving battery life. Two wood groups can be selected and are indicated by LED lights. Besides wood products, mini-Lignos can measure moisture levels in cardboard, paper, leather, fiberglass and many other materails.
