How to operate
Before first time using your hot plate:
Please turn it on the highest set for 3-5minutes to condition the protective coating.
1. Put water and / or food in the cookware. Do not fill more than 80% of cookware, as it will overflow. Cover and place on the hot plate.
2. Put the unit in. Turn the power dial to on position. The indicator light will illuminate. Turn the temperature dail from the 1 to 5 position, to set the desired temperature. (1—is the lowest heat, 5—is the highest heat). The indicator light will go off as the temperature is reached, and will cycle on and off to maintain the temperature.
3. When not in use always turn the controls to the “OFF” position and disconnect from the power outlet.
Hints and tips
Do not use us unstable pans. Besure to use flat bottom pans to insure full contact with the heating surface for maximum heating efficiency.
