1. Brief introduction
PLBS Pole mounted SF6 load break switches are designed to meet growing requirements for
Reliability.
Switches filled with SF6 gas as the insulating and arc quenching medium with puffing
principle.
It can be used in 12kv,24kv,36kv overhead line.
It has excellent load breaking and fault making capacity.
It has three kinds of operating mechanisms: manual, motor, intelligent
The basic mechanism is operator independent quick close and quick open spring toggle
mechanism. The motor operating mechanism is developed to meet the feeder automation in addition to the manual switch.
2.Standards
Each switch is filled with SF6 gas and is sealed. And it is tested according to IEC60265-1(1988),
GB3804-1990 before delivery.

4. Terminal
There is one φ13 stainless steel terminal on the upper side/ bottom of the switch housing front. It is used for
connecting earth wire. It is easy to connect with earth wire using a 22 – 38 mm2 copper lead without extra
auxiliary clip.
