The corn flakes and breakfast cereal are the kind of crisp, smooth & fragrant food with a good rehydration, which is mainly made of corn flour mixing with granulated sugar. Various kinds of vitamins and mineral substances can be added through fully kneading, curing, forming, tabletting, baking and flavoring.

Equipment Configurations for Production Line
- Flour Mixer: Stir mixed corn flour alone or maize germ mixed with nutrition additives evenly with a certain amount of water. Choose different GY flour mixer model according to different output requirements.
- Spiral Conveyor: Convey stirred raw materials into feeding hopper of extruder.
- Extruder: Select different GY extruder model based on clients’ raw materials and output capacity requirement. With the help of special control cabinet, extruder is able to extrude the raw material under different temperature & pressure, and produce puffed products. The shapes of products can be changed by changing the modules in extruder.
- Cooling Conveyor: Cooling the small spherical particles and convey them into the feed inlet of air conveyor.
- Air Conveyor: Convey particle into tablet press machine.
- Tablet Press Machine: Crush spherical particle into slice, namely corn flakes.
- Multi-layer Drying Oven: Dry semi-finished products. It is the most common dehydration plant for puffed food. It includes a belt dryer and some in-built heating devices to carry out drying by means of electricity, vapor, diesel or gas. The drying temperature and drying time can be controlled.
- Elevator: It is used to lift up semi-products into next equipment.
- Vibrating Screen: Separate semi-products to prevent overlapping.
- Hot Air Dryer: Drying the semi-products again with hot temperature and hot wind.
- Flavoring Line: Select single-roller flavoring line or dual-roller flavoring line, based on output and product properties. They combine the functions of flavoring with seasoning and oil injection together.
- Vibrating Distributor: Separate the products to prevent overlapping and distribute the products evenly into next equipment.
