Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is the second hardest material only to diamond, with the high thermal conductivity and stable chemical resistance. It is suitable for working on ferrous material where diamond abrasives are not normally employed. The CBN products are well suitable for grinding of hard tool, alloy steel, die and nickel, cobalt-based alloys.

HXN-T consists of CBN grits with a thin titanium coating. This coating is used for metal or vitrified bond system.In certain bond system, it can protect the surface of the CBN particles from destructive chemical attack,and under suitable conditions can improve the grit retention in the bond,remarkably lengthening tool’s life.
