Introduction:
Quartz sand filter is the earliest,general filter which used in environment project area for clear water and waste water; it is the most effective manner which used to remove the suspended solid, it is the important treatment unit in sewage depth treatment,sewage reuse and feed water treatment, its function is further remove the flocculated pollutant, it can realize the water purify purpose by hold back,subside and absorption function.
Quartz sand filter can adopt quartz sand as filtering media, such filtering media has the outstanding advantage of high intensity,long service life, big treatment capacity, outlet water quality more stabilize and reliable etc; this sand main function is remove the suspended solid,colloid,silt ,rust etc, use water pump pressing, make the raw water pass filtering media, remove the suspended matter in water, thus realize filtering purpose.
Principle:
Quartz sand filter is adopt one kind or several kinds of filtering media, normal temperature operate,acid-bases,antioxidant, PH application scope is 2~13, the system equip perfect protection device and monitoring instrument, with the backwashing function, dirt can wash away quickly, little water consumption, it can set full automatic function according to client requirements. under some pressure, make the raw solution pass by this media contact flocculation,adsorption ,interception to remove impurity, thus realize the filteration purpose, its in-built filtering media is quartz sand,anthracite etc. client can chose of them according to actual condition. Its filtering fineness is between 0.005~0.01m, it can effective remove colloidal particles and high polymer organic.
Mainly used to remove the suspended solid in water, this equipment can match with other water treatment plants, widely used in water supply purify ,circulating water purification etc each kind of water treatment projects.

According to filtering media difference, particle size is 0.8~1.2mm, filtering layer is 1.0~1.2m usually.

Application condition:
Quartz sand filter suitable to industry,village,town,living area etc water supply facility which ask filtered water turbidity ≤3mg/l. double layer filter media filter used in inlet water turbidity often below 60mg/l, and fill coagulation condition. If used in settling filtering, the inlet water turbdity≤15mg/l.single layer filtering media filter only suitable for inlet water >15mg/l.
