Preformed Guy Grip Electrical Power Line Accessories / Fittings

 

1. Structure and Principle

 

The preformed guy grip is made of numbers of helical preformed rods which are produced according to cable diameter. The preformed rods will be pasted into a bundle and then be twisted, bended and shaped.

 

Since the spiral inner diameter of guy grip is smaller than the cable diameter, it will produce strong grip strength after the two legs of guy grip are wrapped onto the cable.

 

2. Features

 

* Favorable tensile property: the biggest strength can reach over 100% of rated tensile strength of conductor.

 

* Compared with the traditional tension clamp, it has better shock-resistant ability with uniform stress and without stress concentration.

 

* Excellent resistance to corrosion: the raw material of galvanized steel wire or aluminum-coated steel wire make it has better resistance to corrosion.

 

* Convenient installation: it can be installed quickly by one person without any special tools.

 

3. Application: Widely used in the fixing and anchoring parts of power transmission lines, ground wires, guy wires and insulating wires.
