CAF principle
The air floating treatmennt manner is filling air into waste water, in the form of tiny air bubbles precipitine from water as carrier, to make the emulsified oil,small suspended particles etc pollutant in waste water adhere to bubble,
Floating upward to water surface with bubble, to form into air,water,particles triple phase mixture,by collecting foam or floating scums to reach purpose of separating impurity,purify waste water.
The floation method mainly used to treat emulsified oil or relative density near 1 tiny suspended particles which difficult remove by natural settling or floating ; more widely used in treating oily waste water, it only can remove particles which bigger than 30~50 um oil drops,smaller oil drops has bigger stability, and it not easy for merge and become bigger floating rapidly,also called emulsifed oil. The emulsifed oil easy to adhere to air bubble, to increase its floating speed. Thus, the oily waste water treatment set floating technique after grease trap, as to further remove emulsifed oil measure.
The CAF system is special for removing oil grease,jelly and suspend solids etc in industrial waste water and municipal waste water. The whole air floating system total divide into five parts, the un-treated waste water flow into CAF small
Air filling section,waste water fully mixing with aerator produce tiny bubble in rising process pass by air filling section , aerator make the air in water level transfer to underwater by air draft pipeline. The aerator working principal is adopt exhausting air impeller in air tranfer pipeline high speed rotating to form one vacuum zone, air in liquid level input into water by aerator, filling up vacuum ,
Micro bubble come into being and rise to water level in spiral type, the oxygen in air will dissovled into water. Due to the density imbalance between air water mixture and liquid , there will produce one vertical upward flotage, take the SS to water level. In floating process, microbubble will adhere to SS, after reach water level, SS will rely this bubbles support and maintenance it in water level. The
SS floating in water level will scrape by chain mud scraper. Scraper move along the whole liquid level, and make the SS from air flotating tank inlet push to sludge discharge pipeline outlet. The purified waste water flow into overflow tank.
The open backflow pipeline from aeration section extend along air floating tank bottom. To produce microbubble at the same time, CAF aerator will form into one negative pressure zone in backflow pipeline tank bottom, such negative pressure function will make sewage backflow into aeration zone from tank bottom, then return to air flotation section, such process guarantee 40% waste water backflow and air flotation section also can work in no waste water condition.
