Basically, FRP gratings are classified as molded products and pultruded products. Molded grating combines superior corrosion resistance with bi-directional strength, and is highly impact resistant. Pultruded grating provides reliable corrosion resistance and higher load bearing characteristics.

1). Molded grating

Molded Fiberglass Grating is designed to deliver reliable performance in the most demanding conditions. Molded Fiberglass Grating combines fiberglass rovings with thermosetting resin to form a solid, one-piece molded panel available in square or rectangular mesh with standard concave or optional grit-top walking surfaces. It has proven superiority in applications that require bi-directional strength and corrosion resistance, and has a long, maintenance-free life.

2) Pultruded grating

Pultruded Grating combines corrosion resistance, long life and low maintenance when compared to conventional metallic gratings. Pultruded Grating is manufactured with a recessed tie bar configuration, is lightweight and easy to fabricate. Manufactured with 70% glass fiber and 30% resin, pultruded products confidently service longer clear spans.
