K, N, E.J, T, S, R, B type Thermocouple with thermocouple head are used in industry for measuring the temperature of gases, liquids or solid surfaces etc., Its usually assembled with indicators, recorders or computers.

 

A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals joined together at one end. When the junction of the two metals are cooled or heated and a voltage is produced that can be correlated back to the temperature. 


STA providing thermocouples are manufactured in different combinations of metals. The calibrations are K, N, E.J, T, S, R, B. Each calibration has a different temperature range.

It directly measures liquid, steam, gas medium and surface of solids that all kinds of productive process temperature from 0~1800°C.

The structure requirements of the thermal couple of platinum rhodium thermocouple 

 

In order to ensure the thermocouple stable and reliable work, its structure should follow the items below: 

1) The welding of the two electrodes to compose the thermocouple should be firm;

2) The two hot electrodes should be well insulated to prevent short circuits;

3) The connection between the thermocouple compensation wire and the free end should be convenient and reliable;

4) Protection tube should protect the heat electrodes from the harmful media adequately.
