Apply the feeder to feed the wet boron powder into the Si De dryer, and the heat source for drying is the hot exhaust generating from the calcination process; the dry materials and air enter into the gas-solid separator for separation, and the separated materials are sent to the calciner for activation calcination, the working medium for calcination is the hot smoke (temperature is about 1000 ~1050 °C) generated from the coal-fired direct hot-blast furnace, and the materials, after the fast mass transfer and heat transfer for active calcination for a few of seconds, are separated and cooled, and then enter into silos.

Leading Process and Technology: Our company cooperated with Liaoning Fengcheng Boron Powder Group to carry out a lot of tests and research on the active calcination of low-grade ferroboron ore, and developed the flash calcination new process through which the finished product activation rate after calcination is significantly higher than that of calcinated products by traditional rotary kiln. For example, the ferroboron ore with grade over 10% can be calcinated to the activation rate of above 90%; and the ferroboron ore with grade between 6% and 10% can be calcinated to the activation rate of 80~85%. Currently, the dynamic boron powder drying and calcination equipment developed by our company is the most advanced process and technology in this field of China.
Brief Introduction to Boron Drying and Calcination: As there is no large-scale industrial device for the calcination of low-grade ferroboron ore, most enterprises disregard them and discharge them outside, resulting in substantial waste of resources and environmental pollution. A few of manufacturers use rotary kiln as calcination equipment for boron powder, but the products obtained from rotary kiln calcination are usually of low activation rate, low leaching rate, high coal consumption, poor thermal efficiency, so it is difficult to make good use of boron ore resources. Applying our dynamic drying and calcination process equipment can produce the boron powder with high activity and grade. The boron powder flash calciner is of the features of energy saving, without environmental pollution, high recovery rate, small land covering area and high automation degree.
