The 3C-PS4P1102 Power Source Convenient switch combines a small-high efficiency 5-port 10/100 Mbps switch with a standard 802.3af 4-port Power over Ethernet (PoE). The 3C-PS4P1102 PoE switch uses an external 48VDC power adaptor. All 4 PoE Ethernet ports can provide 15.4W power as well as 10/100M data transmission over standard readily available Cat 5/5e /6 cables. The new SPE-1000P allows for data and power to be transmitted over a single Ethernet twisted-pair cable to the attached devices.
The 3C-PS4P1102 switches is Power Source Equipment (PSE) and fully compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that comply with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard allowing users to attach any IEEE802.3af compliant device such as wireless Access Points (APS), VOIP phone, IP camera, printer and Network Attached Storage (NAS)to the 3C-PS4P1102 without requiring additional power on a network. The unit is designed with home and small business users in mind and is a cost effective solution for environments where AC power is not available or too costly to install.
