TENA Low-E coated glass
Description | TENA Low-E (Low Emissivity) coated glass is a kind of glass whose surface is coated with low emissivity coating of silver & metal-oxide film so that the glass takes on different colors. Its main functions are to reduce the U value (coefficient of heat transfer) of glass, selectively reduce Sc (shading coefficient to sunlight) and comprehensively improve energy-saving property of glass. The energy loss produced through exterior glass windows & doors usually amounts to over 50% in total energy-consumption in buildings. TENA Low-E glass is one of the most ideal energy-saving materials that can be adopted widely in residential, commercial and public buildings around the world. |
Major features | l Superior energy-saving: -High infrared (wavelength 780 ~3000nm) reflectivity, the ability to directly reflect far infrared thermal radiation. Thus the U value of Low-E glass can be greatly cut, and the energy-saving property of Low-E glass improved much. -Low surface emissivity, weak ability to absorb external energy, hence little reradiated heat energy. -The feature of energy-saving can be realized further by adopting Low-E glass in IGU (Insulating Glass Unit), with Ideal noise-isolation effect altogether. l Wide range of shading coefficient Sc that can be selected, and hence ideal ability to control sun light transmittance according to needs to cater to requirements of different areas generating a superior daylighting effect indoors. l High ratio of transmittance & low ratio of reflection to visible light (wavelength 380 ~780nm). This can avoid “dazzling disasters” generated by the high-reflection of visible sunlight of glass curtain walls in modern buildings. l Safety after being tempered with superior mechanical strength. Our company adopts unique technology which can perform flat or curved tempering of it without affecting its superior performances. |
Availability of deep processing | Besides single pieces of Low-E glass with various types and sizes, TENA can also provide compound glass products made from it, flat or curve tempered coated glass, insulating coated glass, etc. |
Wide applications | l Architecture external curtain walls in buildings l Window glass for shops, houses, villas and schools l Auto glass for buses and trains |
Tests passed | Conforms to National Standard, GB/T18915.2-2013 <Coated glass-Part 2: Low emissivity coated glass> |
Building projects applied | TENA products have been widely used successfully in hundreds of outstanding buildings, such as National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing, Guangzhou International Finance Centre (IFC), Guangzhou Railway Station, 5-star Sheraton Dameisha Resort Hotel Shenzhen, etc. TENA products are welcomed by more and more clients. |
TENA Manufacturing line for Low-E coated glass
TENA understands deeply the operation principle of 6-key factors assuring product quality, the 3M2E1T formula (Employees, Machines, Materials, Method, Environments & Testing). Here shows some advanced manufacturing machines and testing facilities invested by TENA in its ISO9001-2008 certified factories. All these factors combined together make sure only qualified products up to high standards can be provided by TENA Group to customers.
