1. initial charge efficiency test.
2. aging period.
3. final charge efficiency test.
Initial charge efficiency test (3 cycles) at + 40℃±2℃
Cycle no.1: | Charge for 48 hours at 0.05C, discharge at 0.25C to a final voltage of 1.0 V. No minimum duration required. |
Cycle no.2 | Charge for 24 hours at 0.05C, discharge at 0.25C to a final voltage of 1.0 V. 3 hours minimum duration required. |
Cycle no.3 | Charge for 24 hours at 0.05C, discharge at 0.25C to a final voltage of 1.0 V. 3 hours minimum duration required. |
Aging period (3 cycles) at 70℃±2℃
Cycle no.1 | Charge for 60 days at 0.05C, discharge at 0.25C to a final voltage of 1.0 V. No minimum duration required. |
Cycle no.2 | Charge for 60 days at 0.05C, discharge at 0.25C to a final voltage of 1.0 V. No minimum duration required. |

Note: The temperature of 70℃ has been selected to simulate the ageing of cells during 4 years.
