What is Mechanical Shock Testing
Mechanical shock testing determines if a product can remain functional when subjected to moderately severe shocks. Shock testing can be called different names such as high impact shock testing, impact testing, hammer shock testing, but they are all intended to simulate sudden or abupt movement caused by field operation, transportation, or handling.
